About
The opening of this whimsical yet refined restaurant just off the lake has helped fill the shoes of the departed Merlin. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is delightful, with such funny touches as painted vines on the walls, handmade gnomes clinging to various lamps, and lots of cacti and potted plants. Some dishes, such as rolled chicken with aji amarillo (yellow chile) and lomo saltado (a beef stir-fry over french fries and rice), have a Peruvian slant, and others, such as the lamb risotto or merluzza (white fish), have a more eclectic feel. Though the restaurant has a long cocktail and wine list, my vote is for the Cork artisanal beers on tap.
