As the "Home of the BMW International Open" is the Golfclub München Eichenried the only German golf course with a worldwide reputation. Shortly after the inauguration place in 1989 took place here the first BMW International Open - since Eichenried is about 20 times now host this single tournament on the PGA European Tour in Germany.For many golfers, there is a particular challenge in the footsteps of stars like Martin Kaymer, Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Bernhard Langer, John Daly, Retief Goosen and Padraig Harrington a high-profile PGA Championship Course to play like oak Ried.
