The Omaha Beach Golf was created in 1986 by Guy Dupont and designed by Yves Bureau, who has many golf courses in France and abroad to his credit. It is located on the coast near Bayeux and only a few kilometres away from the D-Day Landing Beaches and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer where Steven Spielberg filmed scenes of "Saving Private Ryan" among the 10,000 white crosses.
