The Montecchia Golf Club was founded in 1988 by a group of businessmen from Padua, with the idea of creating an oasis of peace and tranquility right outside the city. The Club is indeed located just minutes from the centre of Padua, and can be easily reached from multiple motorway routes (Venice, Bologna and Milan) as it is located near the city's orbital motorway.
