Ghillie Cottage is a farmhouse and stud farm, set in 26 acres, overlooking the river and set in Cork's glorious Blackwater Valley. It is run by fly fishers Joy Arnold, twice capped for England ladies fly fishing team and Doug Lock, a R.E.F.F.I.S fly fishing instructor and guide. Blackwater Fly Fishing is a tuition and guide service approved by Register of Experienced Fly Fishing Instructors and Schools. Salmon fly fishing is arranged on private local beats of the Munster Blackwater and brown trout fishing is also available on tributaries of the Blackwater. Chest waders are required.
