About
The Gemmano district, renamed the "Balcony of the Adriatic" on account of its panoramic views, lies in the Conca river valley, around 20 kilometers from Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica. Its greatest heritage is natural: the Onferno caves, the Ventena valley, the calanchi, the views which are a must-see for anyone wishing to discover a landscape which has remained intact: a protected natural reserve. The Karst formation at Inferno is considered one of the most important clay caves in Italy. It is surrounded by the Onferno nature reserve, where you can visit the museum, the Botanical gardens and the panoramic terrace at the Castello d'Inferno
