Located on bustling Tuanku Abdul Rahman Road, Gaya Warisan offers a very authentic Malaysian shopping experience.  The store's name translates to "Heritage Style" and they have been selling traditional Malay clothes and batik fabric since 1988. Their batik is all hand-painted using natural dyes and wax to produce the colorful and intricate patterns, then sewn into flowing dresses, skirts, and the traditional kebaya blouse. They also sell clothing for men including silk dress shirts and loose-fitting tunics and pants. Tourists who pick out a new outfit here discover that traditional Malay clothing is very comfortable and ideal for the hot and humid climate. Savvy shoppers will find some great deals on unique fashions and discounts are offered for bulk purchases.
