Gailes Golf Club hosted the Australian Open in 1955 and the Australian Senior Open in 1999, as well as many major Queensland events. An attractive, long course, with interesting bunkers, and minimal water, Gailes has excellent drainage and is arguably the best wet weather course in Brisbane.
