About
This science amusement park in a suburb of Poitiers is a wonderland of technology that lets you experience sounds, images, and sensations with the world's most advanced film-projection techniques and largest screens. Exhibitions include Kinemax (a rock crystal covered with mirrors with a 400-seat cinema); Omnimax (which projects films onto a gigantic dome with a special fisheye lens, putting you into the heart of the action); and Le Tapis Magique, a film that shows you what it's like to fly above the world's most impressive monuments and sites of natural beauty. Another part of the park is Océan Oasis, which leads you on an underwater exploration of a reef off the coast of Baja California. In July and August every night until 10pm, les nocturnes are staged with illuminated fountains, lights, and recorded music. French families festively promenade through the attraction at this time.
