Opened in January 2010 where the club Woodstock previously operated, Frøken (Miss) Nielsen is the happy marriage of two hugely popular clubbing concepts: A flat entry fee followed by a free bar, and a restrictive age policy to the over 20s. Clubs like IN may have started the whole free bar concept, but the sight of scores of horny drunken teenagers was off-putting to many slightly older club-goers. At Miss Nielsen's, a smart dress policy is combined with the option of pre-booking a table and enjoying waitress service. Don't expect anything too fancy, however: The club plays a pretty poppy, conventional mix of new chart hits and 80s-90s classics. Entry is DKK 149 on Fridays and DKK 199 on Saturdays, with free beer and small charges for mixed drinks.
