Foothills Alliance Church is a place of worship in Calgary, Alberta, Canada,[1] meeting at 333 Edgepark Boulevard Northwest.[2] The church had previously been located at the intersection of 20th Avenue and 20th Street Northwest.[3] Services were temporarily held at the Banff Trail Community Centre in 1965.[4] They operate a free program by which people can call to hear a new recorded, one-minute Christian devotional reading each day.[5] They hold candlelight services on Christmas Eve.[6] Christian theologian J. S. Thomson of Scotland did a series of talks at the church in 1967.[7] The Continental Singers and Orchestra performed at the church on August 9, 1986.[8] Musician Karen Ritchie performed at the church on September 7, 2008.[9] A theatrical adaptation of C. S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was performed at the church in 2009.[10]
