About
Within North County Dublin there is a wealth of great fishing spots. Balbriggan, Skerries, Loughshinny and Rush are great for boat angling and visitors expect to find conger, dogfish, codling, and whiting. Bass and flatfish can be beach fished at Dollymount Strand and there is great pier fishing at Dun Laoghaire and Howth. Some good shore fishing takes place at Malahide, Killiney Beach and Dun Laoghaire, where anglers can fish for a wide range of species. During the summer months the Dublin Angling Initiative organise projects for young people to get involved in the fishing courses that North County Dublin has to offer.
