Located in the centre of Galway near the Galway Cathedral, the Fisheries Field is an open space used for cultural events. Most events take place in the Arts Festival Tent, which can be seen from miles. The Fisheries Field is easily reachable by road and in close proximity to the Salmon Water Bridge. The venue is home to the famous Festival Big Top (a series of concerts).
