Felix uses gold, silver, bronze and brass in her jewellery, sometimes incorporating other interesting materials such as wood and stone. She is always glad to discuss special designs for Christenings and other special occasions.It is well worth the drive to visit the picturesque workshop and studio of jewellery designer- maker Felix Faulkner. Set in the lovely countryside of West Waterford, close to the Blackwater River and 14K from Youghal, Tallow, Lismore and Cappoquin, the studio is a treasure trove of her own jewellery plus a range of Irish crafts. She trained in Bulawayo and in Germany but nowadays her designs are influenced by the sea and landscape around her home in Cornwall. Felix, who moved to Ireland from Cornwall, England in 1995.
