The General Store is fully loaded with bespoke furniture and treasures galore, such as; hand made tables, carved wooden jewellery boxes, bags and purses made from recycled juice bags and recycled saris, organic cotton clothing, food; teas, coffees, biscuits, cereals; handmade paper and more.The “fairtrade kids” shop will transport you into a child’s fantasy world. It is packed full of handmade educational and make believe toys as well as soft cuddly ones. The clothes; baby suits, tees, trousers, dresses, blankets, and so on; are mainly organic cotton. Strongly recommended by the medical profession for sensitive and allergy prone skin, this shop is well worth a visit for these hard to find unique products.
