Spread over 3 hectares across the Sumatran forest, the Elephant Safari Park is a well-preserved park which was inaugurated in 2000 by the Ministry of Tourism. The park is a part of the World Zoo Association and meets the international standard for preservation of the natural habitat. A tour on the back of the elephant would take you through the jungle along with local knowledgeable guides. Other attractions in the park include a botanical garden and an Elephant museum which holds the skeletal remains of a Mammoth. Visited by the famous crocodile hunter, late, Steve Irwin and other famous celebrities, the park is a best place to visit for forest and wild-life trails in the island of Bali.
