El Meson is the oldest Spanish restaurant in Copenhagen, and serves authentic Spanish food. The ambiance at the place is Spanish to the core, with the restaurant having exported interiors all the way from Spain. Enter the dimly lit room with wooden tables and eat in earthen crockery. Its almost like you've just stepped into a restaurant in Bilbao or Madrid. Tuck into the awesome Al Bondigas Caseras, Gambas al Ajillo, Esparragos Riojanos con Jamón Bellota, Calamares Fritos and the splendid Pamboli here. The restaurant also has some excellent wines such as Castelo de Medina, Verdejo 2001 and Marques de Alella Clasico.
