About

Moroccan Restaurant Located at the Al Majaz Waterfront this restaurant has a lovely setting. It has a indoor seating with a glass wall overlooking the Khalid lagoon, outdoor seating along the waterfront and a terrace balcony with a nice view. The food is very good. The menu has soups, salads, tagines, couscous and a lot more. The Samak Soup (fish and seafood soup from Essaouira), the Tanjia Marrakeshia (lamb cooked in a tall clay pot with pickled lemon and garlic) and dessert Knafa Bil Halib (layered philo pastry sheets filled with vanilla cream, nuts and orange blossom, sprinkled with caster sugar) all the food is good in taste. Another interesting soup on the menu is the Dchicha Soup (from the mountainous regions of Morocco, made from crushed wheat, vegetables and beef cubes). The service is excellent. The staff are very polite, efficient and helpful.
Overall it was a very pleasant evening with musical fountains in the lagoon, just off the promenade, spraying, swaying and dancing to the music of "Can Can."
