Echo Rock is a viewpoint that'll take your breath away, making you wonder in amazement at nature's splendours. One of the best places to get a bird's eye view of the sprawling plains of Coimbatore. Also known as Lamb Rocks, Echo Rock s are one of the most prominent viewpoints at Ooty. The horizon seldom looks as beauteous as it does when you climb up the point and see it from here. The cool blue ranges of the Nilgiris stretch for as long as you can see, while a rising sun often colours in unimaginable hues of orange. Named after Captain Lambs, it gives a bird's eye view of the Coonoor Stream that flows from amidst the hills, some 5000 feet below.
