Troubled by her detractors, Meerabai reaches Dwarakadheesh temple to find the doors of the sanctum sanctorum closed. she calls out to her beloved lord Krishna. The doors open and meera turns into a bright flash of light and merges with the image of Krishna. The temple is located in the city of Dwaraka, the kingdom said to be established by Krishna after leaving Mathura, the Kingdom of his father Vasudeva.
