Explore the center of western history in Santa Clarita. Head to William S. Hart Park and Museum. Named after the silent film star, this 256-acre ranch is open to the public at no charge. Hart’s former home, now a museum, holds an impressive collection of Western artwork, personal furnishings, and other Hollywood memorabilia. Free guided tours of the Museum’s mansion are offered year-round. Located within the park is Heritage Junction. It houses more historic buildings, such as the Saugus Train Station, Edison House, and Newhall Ranch House, all with interesting stories delving into the city’s past.
