Established in 1984, Abu Dhabi Duty Free is the subsidiary responsible for the operation of the retail, food and beverage and services concessions under the Abu Dhabi Duty Free brand within Abu Dhabi Airports. What began in 1984, with only five retail units, Abu Dhabi Duty Free now boasts an annual revenue of AED809 million (2012) in excess of 8,000 sqm of retail space and 124 retail and food and beverage outlets in Abu Dhabi International Airport alone. Our growth does not stop there. We are currently investing in one of the world's most ambitious airport development projects with the construction of the Midfield Terminal Complex. This already award winning state-of-the-art terminal will cater for 27-30 million passengers annually and house over 28,000sqm of retail and F&B outlets.
