Birsa Deer Park is located at the Ranchi-Patna National Highway near Ormanjhi about 11 km away from Ranchi in the south west. This park is an eco-friendly park which possesses an innumerable bunch of fauna that are mostly mammals.  The park is engulfed by hundreds of varieties of deers.  Earlier it was started with 15 deers and the number has now increased to about 231 deers along with the increase in the number of visitors.  Park safari is the main attraction of Birsa Deer Park, which gives a closer and clear picture of the roaming deers and nature's wild life in their natural habitat throughout the park.  There are a lot of lions, tigers, deers and different species of monkeys that seek refuge in the natural surroundings of the park.
