It is just a short distance away from the KL Bird Park. From the bird park, turn left and go towards the Tun Razak Memorial. At the junction, take left and walk through the gates into the lake area. The KL Deer Park is located on the left.Inside the deer park you will be able to see many species of deer. The most interesting for would probably be the mouse deer or kancil. It looks more like a giant rat than and deer.
The mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus), also called chevrotain, is the world's smallest hoofed animal and a popular figure in Malaysian and Indonesian folklore. It is believed to be a very intelligent animal.
