Reflecting the South African food that is served, this place is warm and inviting, quirky, humorous and bold. With bright pink and yellow walls contrasted by brass chandeliers, the décor includes a bit of everything. Dishes are served in awe-inspiring portions of delicious farmhouse fare, the kind that made Dutch settlers corpulent. Expect old favourites like smoorsnoek, bobotie, oxtail, lamb curry and everything else that we all know is bad for us, but love anyway. The wine selection is small, fair and pocket-friendly.
