Sothavilai Beach is one of the two beaches in Kanyakumari that you can visit in your holidays in India. Sothavilai Beach has sandy white beaches and very clear waters so that you can see the bottom of the sea. It is one of the better beaches of the Indian Ocean which allows you to rest in the calm waters of the ocean. Sothavilai Beach is about 7 km from the main town. Sothavilai Beach was damaged in the big tsunami that took place couple of years ago
