The Corowa Jump Shak Skydive Victoria operates primarily at the Corowa Airport. They also have jumping weekends at Albury on other occasions. The Corowa Jump Shak offers first-jump courses and continuation training for all experience levels. They operate mainly on the weekends and bookings are essential. All instructors employed are licensed by the Australian Parachute Federation and many of these instructors have won Australian and World championship medals during their skydiving career. The facility at Corowa Airport has also been chosen for numerous National Championships, and the 1999 World Championships for skydiving. Some people say jumping from a plane is insane, but Corowa Jump Shak believe that life requires you to challenge yourself, constantly. The Corowa Jump Shak operates from its own premises at the Corowa Airport, located only three minutes from the town centre. Corowa, nestled on the banks of the Murray River is a well-known retreat from the city and is surrounded by wineries and is well served by a variety of clubs, hotels and restaurants. There are also various other recreational facilities such as golf, water-sports and gliding at hand.
