If you ever had any doubt of whether healthy could be tasty, this cozy-yet-eclectic little eatery is proof that vegetarian food can be delicious! The perfect place for both meat-eaters who want to "eat green" for a change and die-hard vegetarians, Corner Tree's cuisines are literally from other worlds. Dishes are inspired by India, North Africa, Italy, Japan, Greece, Turkey and the Philippines, and with no "vege meat", vegetables are celebrated for what they are. With décor that is European, African, Australian, American and Asian toned, it's the kind of place that reminds travelers of all the places they have been. Yet the "liberation chairs' (circa 1945 Manila) and local mossy green Machuca tiles and period pictures give it the old world feel which truly makes you feel at home.
