Combat Zone is a paintball centre set on 25 acres of natural woodland just outside Shanagolden in County Limerick. A great outing for a stag or birthday party, corporate outing or just a group of friends, Combat Zone can facilitate groups with up to 120 players. Special packages are available. Over 16s are only permitted.Paintball is one of the fastest growing sporting activities in the world, offering exhilarating action packed fun for everyone. A sport that combines teamwork, strategy and skill participants must attempt to outsmart the opposing team. Equipped with the latest semi- automatic paintball marker which fires biodegradable paintballs accurately to over 100 feet and specially designed safety wear, teams are sent on various exciting and challenging missions, specially designed to ensure an action packed day.Combat zone is one of Ireland's most exciting and challenging paintball venues. Missions are specifically designed by marshals with years of experience and with 10 different missions and three hours of non stop action, players are guaranteed a day to remember.The base camp is a purpose built compound, which has a seating area, car and coach parking, men and woman’s toilets, washing facilities and a fully stocked shop. Once players have been signed in and kitted up, a short health and safety briefing takes place then our highly trained marshals will bring you to the firing range to try out the guns before the real action begins.Directions:When travelling from Limerick take the N36, heading for Foynes. About 1 mile before Foynes take the left turn for Shanagolden. Drive through Shanagolden and one mile out the far side of the town until you come to a sign for combat zone and take the right hand turn. Continue half a mile until you come to another combat zone sign and take the left turn. The venue is one mile down this road on your right hand side. When travelling from Cork turn left at Charleville for Newcastle West. Whe you arrive at Newcastle west take the Foynes road to Shanagolden. Just before you come to Shanagolden there is a combat zone sign take the left hand turn. Continue on half a mile and you will come to another combat zone sign for a left hand turn. The venue is one mile down this road on your right hand side.
