Coliseum Cafe

Coliseum Cafe & Hotel

About

Everyone loves the Coliseum Café – it's a great magnet for local and tourists alike. Ninety years old and it's one of the best examples of the city's colonial heritage. Step back in time – dark wood saloon doors take you into the bar; delightfully worn tiled floors and antique furniture characterize this atmospheric restaurant and bar, which is undoubtedly a KL institution. Expect seasoned waiters, a colonial era bar and popular old-style Western dishes (think greasy, sizzling steaks) plus Hainanese favorites (such as the very popular Hainanese chicken chop). A must try are their thick slices of bread dipped in prawn sambal (spicy sauce).
