Clasac, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann’s is the Regional Resource Centre of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, a movement promoting traditional Irish music and culture around the world. Clasca is just minutes from Dublin’s city centre in Clontarf. At the heart of Clasac is its theatre, which allows for performances on stage and in the centre of the auditorium. The flexibility of the theatre supports seating configurations of up to 340 people, and is perfect for a range of musical and dramatic productions.The theatre is also the home venue for Clasac ensembles, including a choir, music and dance ensembles and festival groups.Dublin is a hub of Irish culture. Because of the size of its population, Dublin has the highest concentration of traditional musicians, singers and dancers in the country. Yet, only a limited number of suitable outlets exist, where these artists can perform and pass on their unique skills. Clasac has been developed as a recognised focal point in Dublin, for enjoyment and excellence in our native traditions.
