About

Think it doesn't snow in Florida CityPlace in West Palm Beach is expected to get a whopping 36 inches this year! That's fake snow of course, but what better way to spend your holiday shopping than in a sub-tropical climate surrounded by picturesque snow Florida's version of  "white Christmas" will take place with nightly snowfalls at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 31. The MagicSnow effect used at CityPlace is not only the most technically advanced special effect method available, but is also the most realistic because no two snowflakes are alike. It's not just snow that makes this shopping center feel like the holidays though. Visitors can also enjoy the 1,300-square-foot synthetic ice rink and holiday train ride. And on Saturday, Dec. 15 guests will enjoy a “snow day” --  mounds of real snow for children to play in, build snowmen, and aim at snowball targets. Macy’s will be onsite with a pop-up store to shop for cold weather accessories such as hats and mittens. CityPlace is located at 700 S. Rosemary Avenue #200, West Palm Beach, Fla., 33401.
