The Church of Our Lady of Miracles at Sanguem is dedicated to Our Lady of Miracles. It was originally a military chapel built by the Portuguese Government and under the jurisdiction of the Zambaulim church. The Zambaulim church was built in 1758 and it collapsed in 1855. The very same year the Chapel of Sanguem was given a parochial status but baptisms and marriages were registered in Tilamol Church. The Sanguem Chapel was under Tilamol Danery upto the year 1951.
