Although the shop, which is today quite modern and has its own tearoom, the Chocolaterie du Rhône originally opened in 1875. To the great delight of chocolate lovers, it has a wide selection of fresh homemade bitter, milk, and white chocolates and truffles including some as exotic as tea chocolate. One of their mocha chocolates has even won recognition with the Gault et Millau chocolate eater's prize.
