CGC members enjoy regular golf and a comfortable clubhouse to retire to after play. There are lots of competitions to enter. These include regular, midweek "swindles" as well as weekly competitions under CONGU regulations. Additionally there is an annual round of matches against other clubs either friendly or under the auspices of The Essex Golf Union or other organisations.
