This easy 2 km walk on a well-maintained track starts near the Settler's hut and takes the visitor along the Ormuz/Arba water race and via the Jubilee tail Race into the historic alluvial tinmine site. At the heart of the tinmine site is a quiet site shaded by Sassafras, Myrtle and tree ferns. Here the visitor can contemplate the feeling of place - "by putting oneself in another's position, your wisdom reveals". The visitor can complete the circuit by taking the timber steps out of the tinmine and following the track back to the Settler's hut. Walking time is about 20 minutes. The walk into the tinmine is easy and is followed by a moderate uphill grade (~200m) before a gentle downhill slope returns the visitor to the Settler's hut.
