At first there seems to be no restaurant at all behind the sign and posted menu near the corner of Sea Road (Derech Ha-Yam). But go down the adjoining steps, and you'll discover a nice cellar dining room with a small-town American-style folksy Chinese decor, done in gold and crimson, with gold tablecloths and fresh flowers. The food is mostly Szechuan-style, which can be spicy but needn't be if you don't like hot food. There are 50 items to choose from here; shrimp and calamari dishes are at the high end of the price range. Beer, wine, and cocktails are served.
