Chiapa de Corzo, one of the excellent restaurant in Tuxtla Gutierrez Chiapa de Corzo is a relaxed and hassle-free town near Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in Chiapas. It is centered around a large plaza with an unusual octogon shaped structure in the centre. Almost completely overlooked by foreign tourists in favour of San Cristobal, the town is definitely worth a day or two, and the near total absence of tour groups, hippies etc might be enticing for some.
