Chi Chi's is a long term favorite with the Kuta crowd and has stood the test of time as countless restaurants come and go in an ever changing dining scene. What it offers is a no frills approach to good quality Tex Mex food and a friendly, casual atmosphere that often hots up well into the early hours when the crowds arrive. It is an ideal refuelling pitstop for shoppers from the nearby Discovery Mall or as a pre clubbing drinking spot. Situated on the second floor, it has a spacious, airy aspect with views over in the direction of Tuban beach and is simple and unfussy in decor. The menu consists of the usual Mexican favorites with burritos, chicken and beef fajitas and excellent chimichangas. There is plenty of steakhouse style options such as ribs, gigantic burgers and chili dogs. The usual Indonesian favorites are here too in very generous portions. -Ray Montgomery
