The Chew Recreation Center is a recreational complex with a public pool, basketball courts, and baseball fields. During the summer, Chew holds an affordable summer day camp for children and an evening softball league for adults. The pool is open only during the summer, but the lighted basketball courts are open year-round. Competition in the pick-up games is fierce. Located only blocks away from the business and shopping districts of Center City.
