Chengtai Nursery

Dedicated to the ancient art of the Bonsai is the Chengtai Nursery near Sungei Tengah Road. Originating from China around 1,200 years ago, Bonsai comes from the combination of both art and creativity. 

Sitting on a block of about 4 acres, the nursery has a wide range of bonsai trees, both for the expert, and the bonsai beginner. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the world of bonsai, where you can then pick out a Penjing-style tree that suits you best. 

Established in 1990, the Chengtai Nursery also offers landscape planning and design services. The aerial view of the nursery is especially splendid as it offers a nice impression of the densely inhabited city of Singapore among a world of green.
