Legend has it that hotpots originated from the Sichuan province during one especially chilly winter morning when several poor longshoremen devised the spicy dish as an internal means of warding off the cold. Since then, hotpots have taken off in China, especially in this tastefully decorated restaurant. Its interior features clay sculptures and scrolls providing customers with glimpses of Sichuan ancient culture. Diners can choose to eat in the main room or in private booths. In addition to hotpots the menu also offers a wide variety of Sichuan snacks.
