It's very hard to reach - over 1500 steps to climb on the mountain, but once you are in the fortress a very beautiful view is revealed. This fortress was build by Vlad Tepes (also known as Dracula - due to novel written by Bram Stocker) with the rebels from entire city. When the turks come, from Biserica Domneasca in Curtea de Arges somebody move a big flame on a stick, and from here (around 30 km) this flame was visible and announce all the people that they are in danger.... A lot of words about this place - free entrance.
