The complex of buildings "Black Rose" consists of two houses: No. 853 Na Příkopě 12 and No. 894 Mansions 4, Prague 1 - New Town, connected by passages, which is extended vertically into two floors of the gallery. Object On Příkopě comes from the 40th and 19th century is characterized by an interesting romantic facade, designed by John David Frenzla. Interior modifications are from the period around 1880 by Josef Fanta. In 1932 the project was built by a major functionalist architect Ulrich Tyla hall with business and operational areas, forming a through passage of the trenches to Panské street.
