Centro Cultural de España en Buenos Aires

Florida 943

About

This active art-oriented cultural center is fueled by the Spanish government to promote Spanish influence and culture in Argentina, a country hardly lacking Spanish culture (seeing how the majority of the population descends from immigrants from Spain at the turn of the century). Drop into any of the three locations, including the brand-new, urban art-pitched San Telmo spot, for installations, film screenings, photo shows, and more. The headquarters on Calle Florida contains a well-stocked art library for reading. Also be sure to pick up the CCEBA magazine, Gazpacho, edited by pop culture journalist Cristina Civale.
