Castillo de San Marcos National Monument One S. Castillo Dr, [10]. This old fort was built by the Spanish in the late 1600s of Coquina limestone to defend Spain's interests in the area. Living history demonstrations on weekends. Lower level is handicapped accessible. Adults $6, under 16 free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Annual Castillo Park Pass ($30) is valid for 12 Months and admits pass owner and any 3 adults.
