Castillo de Alcalá must be distinguished from The Alcazar (citadel) as it is actually comprised of a number of ancient buildings surrounded by old courtyards, crumbling walls of an old villa, gates and other defenses from centuries ago. This gorgeous castle stands proudly against the blue sky with its eleven towers with distinctive irregular shapes. This is a great spot to come to for taking great photographs.
