In 1969 Carraig Donn opened its first knitwear and gift shop on the Aran Islands. Since then, the company has continued to expand across Ireland. While the Aran sweater continues to be the centerpiece of Carraig Donn's knitwear collection, they also carry a variety of contemporary knits with some exclusive designs form high profile Irish designers. Outerwear for all of the family is available with wax jackets, fleeces, and rainwear featuring. In the giftware section of the shop, linens, pottery, Belleek, Waterford Crystal, and Galway Crystal are stocked. The emphasis is on high quality Irish goods.Tax free shopping is offered to non European nationals.
