Carioca da Gema located in the heart of Lapa, a two-story mansion where once there was a slum, bar Carioca da Gema is one of the traditional strongholds of the nights of samba. The renovation has retained the charm of the old building, divided into four rooms: the main room, balcony, loft and second floor. On the menu, you can find everything from traditional pub snacks, like codfish and enroladinho cheese dish, ham sandwiches to filet mignon or turkey breast and hot dishes such as penne bolognese and cone cod. The chocolate tart is a great choice for dessert. To accompany the appetizers, the house offers different labels of beer, draft beer, caipirinhas fruit, drinks and cachaca.
