Who was Kate RobertsBorn in 1891 and raised on a traditional small holding in Rhosgadfan this quarryman's daughter became one of Wales' most renowned author, journalist and nationalist and is honourably regarded as the 'Queen of Welsh literature'. She published 16 volumes in total, nine of which are collections of short stories. Two of her works have been adapted for the screen, and a selection have been translated into English, French, German, Japanese and Hebrew. Take a step back in history to Kate Roberts' childhood years and enjoy the cosy yet humble surroundings of the traditional cottage.
